On Sunday the Twitter users were shocked when they saw Elon musk’s name on the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party’s Twitter account, however later they were discovered that the account was hacked. The hackers replaced the party’s name with the name of Elon Musk, the world’s second-richest man and the owner of companies like SpaceX and Tesla. Along with this, they had also removed the party’s logo from the DP and put the photo of Elon Musk. Although, the account was recovered later by Twitter. Let me tell you that this incident is not new with AIMIM on Twitter, before this the Twitter account of UP Chief of AIMIM was also banned. However, the ban was later lifted by Twitter.

Recently, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM has decided to contest 100 seats in Uttar Pradesh, for this they have allied with many small parties. The hacking cases on Twitter are not new. Even before this, the accounts of many big personalities have been hacked on Twitter, which includes the names of famous personalities from Amitabh Bachchan to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, although in a very short time these accounts had been recovered by Twitter. Apart from this, Twitter is constantly making every effort to make its platform safe and secure for its users.

Recently, Owaisi made big headline by challenging Yogi Adityanath that “he’ll not let him become the Chief Minister U.P in 2022”. These headlines got more impetus when CM Yogi accepted Owaisi’s challenge. For the past few months, the micro-blogging site Twitter has been in the headlines for many reasons. Recently, Twitter had also blocked the Twitter account of Indian IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, after which Ravi Shankar Prasad expressed his displeasure through a post.

Apart from this, Twitter also faced a lot of criticism for removing blue ticks from the Twitter accounts of many veteran leaders including venkaiyya Naidu, Mohan Bhaagvat and many others although, after some time, Twitter gave back the blue ticks of all the accounts and said that “due to not updating the accounts for months, Blue Ticks were removed from these accounts”.
