Many users have to face a lot of trouble due to the server down of the country’s leading telecom company Reliance Jio, although according to our sources, now Jio’s service has been restored in few areas and users can simply use it. This was the second such incident after Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram were down which created panic across the country.
Launched in 2016, Jio has caught the attention of people due to its countless schemes. Due to these offers and schemes, most of the people in India started using Jio. In such a situation, due to this sudden outage, the work of lakhs of customers came to a standstill.
People expressed their displeasure through Twitter
Due to the sudden stoppage of services, users turned to the micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed their displeasure towards Jio through the site. Users complained that they are not getting Jio’s network since morning. Due to which users were unable to make incoming and outgoing calls and use the Internet.
The information was first shared by the down detector
After a sudden outage in-network, many people felt that there is something wrong with their phones. People came to know about the real reason after the information received by the ‘Down Detector’ website, which monitors the reports of outages on the internet, reported the Jio server to be down.
Till now the information of Jio server down has come from cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Gwalior, Indore, Raipur, Bangalore, Nashik, and Jaipur. So far, around 4000 users on Twitter have reported the Jio network down. The company has not yet confirmed the actual reason for the server being down. However, according to Jio Care, there is no problem with the Jio network.
Not giving timely information
In today’s era, most of our work is dependent on phone and the internet, in such a situation, we have to face heavy losses due to phone or internet shutdown, hence it is the responsibility of every telecom company to inform the users regarding server down and solve the problem as soon as possible.
