ZoomCar, A car renting company based in India has leaked 3,589,795 accounts in 2018. The data is now being sold for $300 on the dark web.

TheDigitalhacker team has found resources that verifies the information leaked in the breach are

  1. Customer Name
  2. Email Address
  3. Phone numbers
  4. Password (Encrypted)

Thought the actual breach happened in 2018, the data is now being sold on the dark web for 300$.

As per theDigitalHacker communication with Zoomcar, the company claimed that the user’s data is secure. However, as per inc42 research on the hacked database, Zoomcar actually has leaked the data. While doing research the company also found the zoom founder and co-founder data in the breached database.
