Apple-owned Beddit recently launched a new beta testing program in December that’s designed to allow those who own the new Beddit 3.5 device to test new upcoming features, which will contribute in making the product better.
The new Beddit Beta Program will offer early access to new versions of the Beddit app before the general public. Participants will share useful feedbacks with Apple Inc. such as app use, app settings, sleep results, and other diagnostic information. Also, additional feedbacks can be requested by the surveys.
The Beddit Beta Program is completely voluntary and the participants can withdraw from the program anytime and switch back to the public version of the Beddit app. Participants can also rejoin the Beddit Beta Program anytime while it is ongoing.
To participate in the program, you must:
- Already have a Beddit Sleep Monitor (model 3.5).
- Be located in the United States and only using Beddit in the US.
- Be at least 22 years old and above 75 years old.
- Agree to receive email communications from Apple from time to time.
Interested participants (who own Beddit 3.5) can sign up for the program on the website by clicking on the “Enroll Now” button in order to send an email to the Beddit support team.
Back in December, when this new program was released, some criticism was received, for doing away with features like ambiguous “sleep score”, but now, it seems to be much better than the Beddit 3 sleep monitor. The Beddit marked its first new version of the device since Apple’s acquisition of the company in 2017. Though it is not clear as to what will Apple do with the collected Sleep data from Beddit, it was reported that the data could be used in developing a future sleep-related Apple product, like an Apple watch, in order to track sleeping capabilities.
