If you are a Tinder user, then you must read this news because recently Tinder made this important announcement under which in the coming time users will be able to find matches and chat through Tinder only if they submit their Verification ID on the platform.

According to the dating site, the purpose behind implementing this rule is to provide a safe environment to users around the world. To verify the ID, users will need to upload their government-authorized documents on the platform.

Users can upload any government document while creating an account on Tinder. With this update, Tinder will be able to protect its users from interacting with fake accounts as users will be able to find out who they are chatting with.

However, Tinder has not yet disclosed when this feature will roll out in India. Tinder had already rolled out the ID verification feature in Japan in the year 2019. Tinder has decided that it will roll out this feature partly in countries where it is necessary to implement.
