Apple has made various changes to its devices in recent years for the comfort of its users, and it is now claimed that Apple is planning another modification to its iPhone device. According to a source, the tech giant is presently working to hide the notch on its camera. The camera notch will only disappear while not in use, as per the upgrade. However, don’t get too excited because the upgrade is still in progress and may take a bit of time to reach the market. If you’re hoping that this upgrade will be included in the upcoming Apple iPhone 13 series, then put a hold on your assumptions because this will not happen in any way.
Users can take advantage of this feature in two ways, according to Tech Radar. By manually opening the notch using a rotating hinge when it is needed, or via using a downward sliding ‘mobile display’ that will snap into place and be seen. Although we probably don’t know which approach Apple will use until the upgraded version is released in the market, we can only make assumptions till then. This new attempt indicates Apple’s desire to make a great use of the iPhone display’s remaining space.
What invention Apple would conduct, however, remains a mystery that must be solved as soon as possible. Although, it is expected that the company would add something valuable for customers in place of the camera notch. As a result, it will be interesting to see what kind of experimentation the company will do with the space left. Besides the camera notch hiding upgrade, Apple is reportedly working on some other useful features as well, including a hole-punch camera design and an under-display camera, both of which will be released in the coming years.
