A 12-month postgraduate (PG) level advanced programme in Applied Data Science and Machine Intelligence has begun at IIT Madras’ Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI (RBCDSAI). The programme was created in collaboration with TalentSprint.
The first cohort of the PG programme, which begins in August 2021, is now accepting applications. Candidates may learn more about the requirements, fees, and how to apply online at iitm.talentsprint.com/adsmi/.
Data Science, Data Architecture, Data Analysis, and Data Engineering are on course to become the most popular career tracks by 2022, according to the World Economic Forum, and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics expects 11.5 million job vacancies in these disciplines by 2026.
Head of RBCDSAI and Professor of Computer Science at IIT Madras B Ravindran, said: “Mastering data science requires a strategic approach. Young professionals need to focus equally on building strong fundamentals and applying the learnings to solve real-world problems across multiple industry domains.”
Several RBCDSAI faculty and experts with interdisciplinary backgrounds will teach live and interactive online classes and mentor candidates as they learn hands-on and work on capstones in a variety of industries, including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, software engineering, smart cities, and so on.
