Google is going to bring a new security update on its platform soon. From November 9, the two-step verification feature will be rolled out on all Google accounts. Google itself has given this information through its recent blogpost.

Under this update, all Google accounts will get an extra layer of security, which will help in keeping the personal data of users safe. Google has taken this step keeping in mind the rising cases of password theft.

According to Google’s blog post, this 2-Step Verification update will be available to 150 million Google users by the end of 2021. More than 2 million Youtube creators will also be able to take advantage of this two-step verification update.

How will the upcoming security update work?

Using the upcoming security update will be much easier. As soon as users log in, they will be asked to complete the two-step verification process on their screen. To complete this process, OTP will be sent to your phone by mail or SMS. As soon as you enter this OTP, you will be able to open your Google account.
