Due to the increasing cases of online phishing on the Internet for a few months, Microsoft has added a special feature to it’s video conferencing platform ‘Microsoft team’ that will alert users about phishing URLs.
Microsoft share this information through a video conference. The tech giant Microsoft has named this special feature ‘Safe Links’. Through this feature, the phishing URL will be easily recognized. However, this feature can only be used by people who use Windows 11 on their devices.
Today’s hackers are very smart, they use several methods to enter into the users’ database, the most popular method of them to hack data is sending malicious links through messages and emails. Every day, malicious messages are sent to the email and mobile inbox of the people, which are sent as advertisements and offers, and if someone opens that link the hackers will simply get access to the user’s data.
Apart from this, Microsoft has also recently decided to remove some of its important services from the latest Windows 11 which includes the following-
Cortana will be removed from the microsoft 11. Users also won’t be able to pinned it to the taskbar. Live Tiles will also be removed from the Start menu. Apart from this, users will not be able to change the size of whatever they have pinned to the start menu.
Although, Windows 11 is not yet available for all Microsoft users as the company is still testing it, hence you might not be able to use ‘Safe links’ feature till the new Windows 11 is updated for all users. But you do not have to worry as Microsoft have promised to launch the update for all users in coming months.
