Clubhouse announces to add local languages ​​to its platforms. Around 13 new languages ​​are added to the platform, including five Indian languages. The Android users will leverage the feature first as 96% of the users access app via Android phones however, later the feature will also be made available for iOS users. Clubhouse spokesperson said,

“We are starting on Android with thirteen new languages launching immediately. We will be adding support for iOS and additional languages soon, so that people from Mumbai and Paris to Sao Paulo and Jakarta can experience Clubhouse in a way that feels a bit more native to them,”

Recently, the app has also featured Anirudh Deshmukh on its icon. The company revealed this news in a recent press conference held on the platform. Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada are added as the Indian local languages. Along with that French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish languages ​​also rolls out in the app.

Clubhouse took this step in response to the growing number of global users on the platform. The app also promises to improve search algorithms and make additions such as classifications and global search to locate better content on the platform.
