Six new Android improvements, according to Google, will enhance accessibility and make Assistant Shortcuts more helpful, among other things. The following are the new features that are introduced:
ANDROID EARTHQUAKE ALERT SYSTEM
People in earthquake-prone locations can receive warnings seconds before an earthquake occurs. Gboard beta provides you emoji kitchen suggestions to choose from. The stable version of Gboard software will be available “this summer” for texts written in English, Spanish, and Portuguese for Android 6 and above smartphones. After you’ve entered a message, the options will help you find the right emoji combo, one that, of course, matches with what you said.
GOOGLE ASSISTANCE SHORTCUTS
Google Assistant can now direct you to particular locations within applications, so you can tell it things like “hey Google, pay my Capital One payment” and it will open the app and finish the work for you. Say “hello Google, shortcuts” to get a full list of what’s possible.
VOICE ACCESS
In beta, Voice Access now features gaze recognition, so only while looking at the screen you can tell it to operate. Voice Access allows you to navigate your phone and apps only with the help of your voice. It also has improved password entry. When a password field is recognized, it allows you to enter letters, numbers, and symbols as your requirement.
ANDROID AUTO CUSTOMIZATION
The Android auto is very much customizable. You may manually adjust dark mode and customize your launcher screen from your phone. With new tabs in media applications, a “return to top” option, and an A to Z button in the scroll bar, it’s also simpler to navigate the material. The process of setting up Android Auto for the first time is significantly quicker.
You can read and send fresh messages via WhatsApp and Messages from anywhere in the world. When linked to a suitable automobile, Android Auto capabilities are accessible on phones running Android 6 and later. EV charging, parking, and navigation applications are now accessible in Android Auto, and the messaging interface has been enhanced so that you can access your favorite messaging applications directly from the launcher.
