Zoom suffers a severe outage, distrupting Zoom meetings or classes

Users reported on Monday morning about the sudden disruption in operating Zoom, impacting especially those people whose entire work relies on zoom meetings and classes as a result of the shift of work to the internet affecting video calls, webinars, and online classes.

Around 1200 Zoom users had reported to Down Detector regarding the widespread outage in Zoom since Monday morning. The outage caused a huge loss to the schools and colleges as the students were unable to join classes and complete notes. Australian schools are the major victims of this outage as they had suffered a widespread outage across their systems.

In India, most of the outage cases were observed in Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. Here the users were unable to participate in video meetings even having better internet connectivity. Although, now Zoom has resolved the Outage issue and ensured to track and keep the users updated regarding the issue from time to time. Meanwhile, still, some users are facing outages while using Zoom.
