The virtual session of CES 2021 gave the creators a chance to showcase products that need not be necessarily ready for store shelves. However, the show was full of new devices, wearables, drones, TVs and much more.
CES 2021 saw the launch of the first of a kind, Wi-Fi 6E router by the company Netgear. The multinational computer networking company launched the Nighthawk TAXE500 tri-band Wi-Fi router entailed with features and technology to achieve a speed which can be termed as the fastest possible speed of WiFi, alongside higher capacity, lower latency and the latest WPA3 security.
The WiFi shall offer a speed up to 10.8Gbps and comes with a 6Ghz band, interference-free and congestion-free. It aims at providing obstruction-free, seamless video conferencing, distance learning and 4K/8K video streaming regardless of the location of the user.
“With the new 6GHz band, this Nighthawk performance router delivers faster speeds, smoother streaming, less interference, and improved latency for devices and Wi-Fi hungry applications for an overall enhanced experience,” the company said in a statement.
“We are also thrilled to announce the industry’s first all-purpose Wi-Fi 6E router which lets you enjoy ultra-fast speeds, smooth streaming, and lower latency for your 4K/8K streaming, AR/VR gaming, and video-conferencing. The Nighthawk RAXE500 Tri-band Wi-Fi Router will capitalize on the available bandwidth afforded by the new 6Ghz channel, delivering an increase in speed and capacity that has never been experienced up until this moment”, Marthish Nagendra, Country Manager India, May & SAARC, Netgear.
Alongside this, Netgear displayed WAX214 and WAX218 wall/ceiling mount Wi-Fi 7 Access Points. These support the home office workers, micro-businesses and small retail owners in the current scenario with a cost-effective solution to typical wireless networking chall.
Remote Cloud management solution was another showcase by Netgear Insight at CES 2021. Insight version 6.0 allows a clear display of both wireless and wired networks while enhancing the customer experience with almost seamless network visibility.
