Users may install two distinct versions of popular instant messaging applications using Samsung’s Dual Messenger functionality. Users can use any two distinct apps according to their own choice on the same account. However, Samsung intends to address some problems reported by the users while using WhatsApp in Dual Messenger mode.

When Dual Messenger was set up, users were unable to send files stored on their phones, which was the source of the issue. Additionally, users were unable to open files sent via WhatsApp. WhatsApp version 2.21.10.16 is affected by this issue (or later). Samsung has said on its forum that a software update would be released in the near future to address this issue.

Until then, Samsung recommends going to the Gallery or My Files app, selecting the files you want to share, and then sending them using WhatsApp’s second instance. South Korean company suggested forwarding the files to your primary Whatsapp account and then open them from there. Four years ago, Samsung’s dual messenger function was launched.
