Just hours after Google shocked us by confirming the leaks about the design of Pixel 4 months ago its launch date, it now witnesses leaks about the release dates of the smartphone. Evan Blass, from VentureBeat, shared a screenshot on Thursday, which revealed Verizon marketing calendar consisting the release dates of multiple smartphones.
The calendar also contained that Galaxy Note 10will launch in August, the iPhone would debut in late September, while the Pixel 4 will arrive in October. Although nothing in the leaked calendar was surprising, it drives home just how out of the ordinary Google’s tweet released the designs of the Pixel 4 months prior to its actual launch dates.
We should not rely on these “leaked” release dates, since these may change due to some of the other factors, but at least it’s worth noticing that there is only one iPhone launch listed. iPhone XR ended up launching weeks after the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but this “might” be a hint that all the three iPhones will launch simultaneously in 2019. “Kinda sad that mobile has gotten so predictable, that none of this information is particularly surprising or even noteworthy,” he wrote in a tweet accompanying the leak.
The designs of both Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 look quite similar if all the iPhone leaks are to be believed. It’s obvious that Apple’s next iPhones will be expensive, but we do not know how much they will fetch. If 2018’s iPhone line-up is to be considered, the pricing would start from £999 and £1,099 for the XS and XS Max successors, and from £799 for the LCD model.
No further details about the features of this new model were revealed, that Weinbach claims that it will be stack up to the Night Sight feature on Google’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
