Popular OTT platform Netflix has rolled out new games in its Android platform that you can play for free. These games include Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast and Teeter Up. In a Twitter post Netflix wrote,
“We’re really pleased to start offering you unique games that don’t have any commercials, extra fees, or in-app purchases”
Apart from this, you will not face any kind of advertisements or in-app purchases while playing these five Netflix games. Mobile devices have a dedicated game row or game tab, while on tablets you’ll find the option from the category drop-down menu. Recently, Netflix also released a trailer of the game added on the platform.
To play these games, you have to first download these games from Google Play. After this, you can play these games inside the app. However, to play these games, you will need to subscribe to Netflix. You can enjoy these games on multiple devices with the same account.
The company is working on game development in collaboration with Mike Verdu, who has also worked for some hardcore gaming companies – EA, Zynga, Legend Entertainment. Currently only Android users can enjoy playing these games however, Netflix promises to soon roll out these games on iOS devices too unfortunately no release date has been confirmed yet.
