Truecaller is releasing Truecaller Version 12 as a new upgrade to their software.

New features and a revised user interface are included in this edition. The update has already been handed out to Android smartphone owners in India. The following are the new features announced by the firm.

Video Call

Users can easily call their family and friends through this feature. When you call friends and family, Video Caller ID allows you to record a brief video that plays automatically. Users may configure a Video Caller ID using one of the built-in templates in addition to filming a selfie video.

Recording call

Incoming and outcoming calls can easily be recorded anytime. The phone saves all recordings locally. Previously, the function was only available to paying customers, but it will soon be available to all Android 5.0 and higher users.

Call Announce

Users can see who is calling even without checking their phone thanks to Call Announce. Even if the contact isn’t in your phone book, Truecaller will read out the caller’s name. Only Premium and Gold subscribers will have access to Call Announce.

Ghost Call

Users may utilize the Ghost Call function to make any name, number, or photo look as though they are receiving a call from that individual. Truecaller Premium and Gold users will be allowed to use Ghost Call. Truecaller Premium costs Rs 179 for three months, Rs 339 for six months, and Rs 529 for a year of service. Truecaller Gold membership costs Rs 2,500 for a year.

Truecaller is a popular tool for validating contacts and banning unsolicited calls and texts. The platform claims to have more than 300 million users worldwide. Based on customer input, the business implemented Group Voice Calling, Smart SMS, and Inbox Cleaner features earlier this year.
Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of Truecaller said, “All these new features will allow people to enjoy and exercise greater control over their communication, offering a safe, fun, and fulfilling experience at the same time. We worked hard to add many new features and a streamlined interface without adding complexity. At the same time, the app is faster and leaner, allowing for smoother operation and reduced battery consumption” said Chief Product Officer and Managing Director, Truecaller India.
